A VISION FOR IOWA’S FUTURE:
As an Iowan born and raised in a small farming community, I understand first-hand the enormous challenges in front of us. As a leader from the world of global business and economics, I have the experience and understanding necessary to tackle the issues we all face. This election is about moving our 5th District community, our state, and our nation forward.

With so many people struggling, it’s time to move beyond partisanship and political gridlock to reach consensus on the issues that matter most to Iowans. In short, Iowans deserve sensible and pragmatic leadership. That’s why my candidacy will focus on job creation in the 5th District, expanding educational opportunities for 5th District Iowans, sensible health care reform, financial system improvements to protect regular Iowans like you and me, relief for overburdened Iowa taxpayers, elimination of waste in government spending, and responsible federal debt reduction.
